Chelsea Green Defends Skye Blue Against Fan Who Judged Her After ROH Taping Incident

Skye Blue is undoubtedly one of the top stars in all of AEW’s women’s division but she was recently a victim of a barrage of sexist and vulgar remarks during the latest ROH taping. Afterwards, another fan tried to blame Skye for the incident and now Chelsea Green came to her defense.

During the ROH tapings this week, Skye Blue squared off against Rachael Ellering. During the bout, man in the front row repeatedly made vulgar comments about her body, called her inappropriate names, and was outright disrespectful towards her. What’s worse is the fact that he even brought his kid along for the show.

Another hater took to Twitter and pinned the blame on Skye Blue for the incident by claiming that it happened because of the gear that Skye Blue wore, which showed off her backside more.

”Some fatherly advice for Skye Blue and all female wrestlers. STOP SHOWING SO MUCH ASS. Try to look more like a fighter than a stripper. The fishnets are f***** corny. You’re making these nerds feel comfortable. The IG thirst traps, the OF and anything like that, is enabling them to think you’re a piece of meat. You f***** snowflakes think is bad? Ask black wrestlers what they had to deal with back in the days. And I’m not making any excuses, just pointing out the obvious so you can go f*** yourselves. Feminism was about ya’ll having a fair shot at doing what men did with no discrimination. Not about showing more ass.”

This obviously didn’t sit well with many fans and pro wrestlers alike, including Chelsea Green. She took to Twitter and blasted the hater as she defended Skye Blue by calling out the blatant double standards.

”Let me get this straight… our male counterparts can walk around shirtless w tiny underwear on, but we can’t wear our outfits because YOU mouth breathers can’t keep your d!CK in your pants? Sounds like the problem isn’t Skye & her insanely great body… it’s YOU, my guy.”

It’s just unfortunate that such behavior still happens in 2024, especially at live events where everyone should feel safe and respected. Many fans feel that it’s simply unfathomable how people can still blame the women for the disgusting acts of other people.
