Bryan Danielson Reportedly Under Part-Time AEW Schedule

Bryan Danielson is still a highlighted member of the AEW roster. It appears that he will be working Saturday nights for the AEW Collision brand from this point on. Now, it looks like he will be doing even less work than many fans would like.

On AEW Collision this week, Bryan Danielson mentioned his plan to conclude his pro wrestling career when his six-year-old daughter turns seven. This sparked discussions about his potential retirement next year, but there might be more to it.

According to sources close to the situation who spoke to SI, Bryan Danielson could continue as a “special attraction” for AEW. This means he may compete on a part-time basis or occasionally throughout the year, typically on major events to boost the company’s visibility.

Throughout his time in AEW, Danielson has followed a reduced schedule and emphasized his role as a father over his wrestling career. His level of creative involvement with the company’s future remains uncertain, but he has taken on a more significant backstage role.

Fans should enjoy Bryan Danielson’s in-ring appearances, as the timeline for his eventual departure remains unclear. He is expected to play a significant role in “Collision” and is set to face Zack Sabre Jr. at AEW’s WrestleDream next month.

Only time will tell how much longer AEW will keep Bryan Danielson as an active star, but he is certainly getting a lighter schedule from the looks of it. For more on this story, and so much more, please stay tuned with us here at Ringside News.
