Braun Strowman Blamed for Ruining His Own Push in WWE with Controversial Social Media Remarks

Braun Strowman has been back in the fold for while now and fans have been glad to see him back, but his career has not been without his fair share of controversies. In fact, he has now been blamed for killing his own push due to his controversial remarks.

Strowman began his career as a member of the Wyatt Family and was once positioned as a potential opponent for the legendary Undertaker. However, his journey has seen various highs and lows. In his current stint, the imposing Monster Among Men has become a dominant force on RAW, engaged in a feud with The Judgment Day.

During the onset of the pandemic back in 2020, Braun Strowman made some incredibly controversial remarks about indie wrestlers who weren’t able to work due to the prevalent conditions, telling them to change professions.

”Here we go with more of the somebody pay for my bills stuff. If you can’t afford to pay your bills maybe you should change professions. That’s why I quit strongman. I loved it, but I couldn’t afford to live so instead of making a go fund me or a Patreon wanting someone else to take care of me I went out and worked harder than I ever have in my life to get to where I am. What happened to being accountable for your own actions????!!!

And for anyone that goes that’s easy for you to say you’re a WWE Superstar just and and FYI 7 years ago I moved to Florida with everything I owned in a Kio Soul with $150 to my name when I started this!!!”

During a recent episode of his Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Konnan commented that Strowman has consistently been popular with fans. Konnan emphasized that Strowman’s connection with the WWE Universe didn’t hinge on delivering great promos. However, Konnan noted that Strowman’s momentum suffered after his past controversial remarks on social media.

“We already told him he was over and he’s trying to compare him to other guys that do great promos. He doesn’t have to do great promos. They were doing cool sh*t with him before they cooled him off, not Strowman. Strowman cooled himself off when I think he was, I think, when he made fun of people online. Like, ‘Oh too bad, you don’t have a job.’ So he got heat for that.”

Braun Strowman will always speak his mind for better or worse and that is unlikely to change anytime soon. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for Strowman on Monday Night RAW.
