Following the breakdown of talks between WWE and Mercedes Mone, there is growing suspicion that she may have signed deal with AEW. Despite these rumors, as of now, she has not made an appearance on AEW television.
AEW World Tag Team Champion Ricky Starks addressed the speculation about Mercedes Mone potentially joining AEW during an appearance on Gabby AF.
Starks mentioned that he hasn’t seen her backstage yet and expressed his willingness to team with her. He added a confident note by stating that she couldn’t beat him, asserting his belief that no one can defeat him in a match.
”I keep hearing that (Mercedes Moné could be coming to AEW) and you know what? I ain’t seen her backstage so, I don’t know… I would rather tag with her than have a match with her… No (she couldn’t beat me). She can’t beat me. No one can beat me.”
Mercedes Mone was also very busy last weekend as she attended TNA’s Hard to Kill pay-per-view alongside Bayley, as they came to support Trinity. It remains to be seen what Mercedes Mone will decide in the end, as fans are waiting for her next big move.
