AEW Selling Replica Scissors Trios Title Replicas for Insane Price

AEW knows that they have some fans who really love their product, and they also have a disposable income. 10 fans with deep pockets will get a chance to flex big time at the next AEW show.

At last month’s AEW All In event, The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn won the Trios Championships, ending the House of Black’s reign. The House of Black had held the gold since AEW Revolution in March 2023, maintaining the longest title reign in the brief history of these championships, spanning 175 days.

This victory for The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass was the first AEW Trios Championship reign for all three individuals, and it’s the second instance of AEW gold for The Acclaimed, who previously held the AEW World Tag Team Championship. For Billy Gunn, this marks his inaugural AEW title.

On the August 30th, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite, which followed All In, The Acclaimed and Gunn unveiled their custom championship belts. These unique titles feature brightly-colored straps and a distinctive design that allows them to be ‘scissored’ together.

Fans will soon have the opportunity to purchase replicas of these championships, albeit at a substantial cost of $4,999 per championship. Only ten replicas of the custom championship will be produced, as indicated by a listing on ShopAEW.com.

Each championship will bear a numbered designation from 001 to 010 and will include a championship belt bag. Additionally, a Certificate of Authenticity, personally signed by The Acclaimed, Daddy Ass, and the Belt Maker, will accompany each championship. These titles are meticulously crafted by Red Leather Belts, with each one being tailored to order.

We will have to see how fast those title belts sell out. For $5k, those title belts need to do a lot more than scissor themselves to get most fans interested in dropping that kind of dough.
